Byo woman walks after 27 years
“I had taken her to a physiotherapist and specialist doctors before, hoping that they could try something to help her walk.
DURING the recent global edition of the Healing Streams Live Healing Services with Pastor Chris a 27-year old Bulawayo woman, Noble Ngwenya, who was born with a cerebral palsy condition, recently stood up and walked for the first time in her life.
Most of the life Noble would crawl around the house and this resulted in her knees to be hard with black patches.
She later developed sores on her knees due to them rubbing on the hard floor.
Noble’s mother Sifiso Ngwenya said that the healing has shocked neighbours and those who did not believe in miracles.
“Many are calling and asking how it happened.”
“For 27 years, my daughter was waiting, like that man in the pool of Bethsaida, Jesus came and stood her up.
“To the man of God Pastor Chris, thank you for teaching us the word of God.
Cerebral palsy is a common motor disability in childhoods that affect a person’s ability to move and maintain balance and posture.
Sifiso, who stays in New Parklands, said that her daughter’s growth and physical development began at birth.
“During the time of delivery, there were no labour pains until the child’s time to be out was overdue and she suffocated inside before a cesarean delivery.
At the age of 10 years, Sifiso would still carry her on her back to help move.
“I had taken her to a physiotherapist and specialist doctors before, hoping that they could try something to help her walk.
“But they told me that there is nothing they can do, because her body does not have enough strength to stand and walk”.
A relative told Zim Community News that they were all amazed by the miracle that Noble stood up and walked on her feet and is still walking on her own.
“This is indeed a great testimony of the power of God. We all had ruled out that she can ever walk, because she seemed not able to stand or support herself up.”
However, everything changed on Sunday 18 March 2024 , after the praise and worship segment at her church.
The miracle brought joy to other congregants who were accustomed to seeing Noble walking into church supported by two people holding her.
